CHLORAMINE-T Disinfectant

Gumboro (Infectious Bursal Disease - IBD in short) has been rightly described as the farmers sleeping enemy. The disease is characterised by depression, anorexia, ruffled feathers, restricted movement, disinclination to move and feed, dehydration, prostration, droopy appearance, trembling and ultimately death. The onset of the disease is sudden. The birds are unable to produce immune response. The causative virus spreads rapidly from infected chicks to susceptible chicks and these infected birds shed the virus in droppings and contaminate the surrounding very rapidly causing immense losses to the poultry farming community. The IBD virus is highly resistant to conventional methods of cleaning and disinfection and stays for long periods of time in the environment.
